Beck e Phoenix insieme per il singolo Odyssey
Il brano dà il nome anche al tour congiunto Summer Oddyssey che porterà il cantautore e la band francese in tour in Nord America a partire da agosto
Beck e i Phoenix si sono uniti per un singolo collaborativo.
Il cantautore americano e la band francese hanno in programma un tour congiunto per la prossima estate e, per l'occasione, hanno pensato di realizzare insieme il brano Odyssey.
Il brano è stato scritto, prodotto e suonato da Beck e dai Phoenix, con la voce di Beck Hansen e quella di Thomas Mars che si intrecciano, mentre il mix è di Serban Ghenea
"Odyssey" presta anche il nome ad un tour congiunto chiamato "Summer Odyssey" che vedrà Beck e i Phoenix salire sul palco per 19 concerti in Nord America.
Con loro si uniranno anche di una serie di grandi nomi della scena indie come supporter, incluse Japanes Breakfast, Weyes Blood e Jenny Lewis.
Beck ha pubblicato pochi mesi fa il singolo 'Thinking About You', a distanza di circa 4 anni dal precedente album "Hyperspace".
Del 2002 è invece l'ultimo album dei Phoenix, "Alpha Zulu".
