I Fleetwood Mac hanno annunciato una serie di box set che documenta i primi anni di attività della band, quelli che vanno dal 1969 al 1974.
Una raccolta enorme per tutti i grandi appassionati della band e i collezionisti sfegatati di cofanetti che avranno pane per i loro denti a partire dal 4 settembre
Fleetwood Mac 1969 - 19974
Il primo cofanetto si chiama Fleetwood Mac 1969 - 1974 ed è composto da 8 CD contenenti sette album in studio prima dell'arrivo in formazione di Stevie Nicks e Lindsey Buckinhgam ma senza contare i due primi LP della ban del 1968, Fleetwood MAc e Mr.Wonderful. I dischi parte del cofanetto sono "Then Play On", "Kiln House", "Future Games", "Bare Trees", "Penguin", "Mystery To Me2" e "Hersoes Are Hard To Find". Quasi tutti i dischi sono comprensivi anche di bonus track aggiuntive e, inoltre, c'è anche un CD con un concerto mai pubblicato prima,"Live from The Record Plant", la registrazione di uno show radiofonico per la stazione KSAN-FM di San Francisco fatto nel dicembre 1974 in supporto ad Heroes Are Hard To Find.
Le uscite in vinile
Oltre al box da 8 CD sarà disponibile anche un'uscita in vinile, un cofanetto da 4 LP, chiamato "Fleetwood Mac 1973 - 1974" e contenente Penguin, Mystery To Me, Heroes Are Hard To Find e Live From The Record Plant, oltre ad un 45 giri con un promo edit mono di For YOur Love e l'outtake Good Things (Come To Those Who Wait).
Inoltre, esclusivamente dallo store della Rhino Records, sarà disponibile una versione in vinile colorato.
In aggiunta, poche settimane dopo, uscirà una 'Celebration Edition' dell'album Then Play On che conterrà la tracklist dell'edizione UK e quattro bonus track, sia in vinile che in CD.
