La Academy ha svelato oggi ufficialmente tutte le nomination agli Oscar che verranno consegnati domenica 9 febbraio al Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles.
Come era facile aspettarsi è "Joker" - dopo 2 Golden Globe e un Leone D'Oro - ad essere in testa per numero di candidature, ben 11, seguito da 'The Irishman' di Scorsese e 'Cera Una Volta a Hollywood' di Tarantino con 10.
Per quando riguarda la parte musicale Elton John, che già si è portato a casa il premio per 'Miglior canzone originale' ai Golden Globe, è candidato anche agli Oscar.
'I’m Gonna Love Me Again', brano interpretato da Sir Elton con il suo alter ego cinematografico in "Rocketman", Taron Egerton, se la dovrà vedere con "I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away" da Toy Story 4, "I’m Standing With You" da Breakthrough, "Into the Unknown" da Frozen II e "Stand Up"da Harriet.
Nella categoria 'Miglior Colonna Sonora Originale', invece lo scontro finale è tra le musiche di 'Joker', 'Piccole Donne', 'Marriage Story', '1917', 'Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker' e 'The King'.
