Si chiama Let The Bad Times Roll il nuovo singolo pubblicato oggi dagli Offspring come anticipazione dell'album dello stesso nome in uscita il prossimo 16 aprile. Il brano è il ritorno degli Offspring a distanza di quasi dieci anni dall'ultimo album "Days Go By" pubblicato nel 2012. Nove anni di silenzio che la punk rock band californiana guidata da Dexter Holland ha deciso di rompere alcuni giorni fa comunicando ai fan che il decimo album era ormai in dirittura di arrivo.
Forse nessuno si aspettava che l'appuntamento lanciato dal cantante della band fosse così immediato con la titletrack pubblicata già oggi. Il brano sembra essere suonare esattamente come potrebbero suonare oggi gli Offspring ed è accompagnato da un lyric video in attesa, si immagina, di un video ufficiale.
L'ultimo singolo della band, ' Coming For You', era stato pubblicato nel gennaio del 2015.

Il nuovo album degli Offspring
Il nuovo album degli Offspring "Let The Bad Times Roll" uscirà il 16 aprile ed è stato scritto e registrato nel corso degli ultimi anni in diversi studi, incluso lo studio della band ad Huntington Beach, in California. Per l'occasione gli Offspring hanno dato anche il benvenuto al nuovo bassista Todd Morse - entrato in squadra dopo l'addio poco amichevole di Greg K. nel 2018 - e hanno lavorato per la terza volta con lo storico produttore Bob Rock.
A proposito del brano che introduce il disco, il cantante Dexter Holland ha detto: "Sento che siamo in un periodo storico davvero unico dove i leader mondiali invece di dire 'stiamo facendo del nostro meglio' sembrano dire 'sticazzi' e questo mi spaventa molto".
"Se andrà tutto a farsi maledire sarebbe meglio riuscire a tirare fuori il meglio - gli fa eco il chitarrista Noodles - o almeno andarcene divertendoci".
