I Twenty One Pilots continuano a mettere mano al loro ultimo singolo nato in quarantena, 'Level Of Concern'. Il duo composto da Tyler Joseph e Josh Dun, infatti, ha pubblicato ad aprile il singolo del ritorno scritto a distanza accompagnandolo con un video registrato tra le mura di casa. Il brano ha subito poi due restyling, uno audio e un video.
La nuova versione di 'Level Of Concern'
Per dare un nuovo sapore a 'Level Of Concern', i twenty one pilots si sono affidati all'artista Pinot W.Ichwandardi per mettere insieme un video che soddisferà tutti gli appassionati dell'estetica vintage.
Nel nuovo video dei twenty one pilots, infatti, i versi della canzone e la storia sono raccontati dallo schermo di un vecchio computer con una grafica in 8 bit che ricorda i primissimi videogiochi degli anni '80.
Il video è stato infatti creato utilizzando un Macintosh ES e un Macintosh SE/30 due macchine messe in commercio rispettivamente nel 1988 e nel 1989, un vero salto nel tempo per i twenty one pilots che hanno così dato un sapore retro al video ufficiale che potete trovare a fondo pagina.

Non solo video il restyling di Level Of Concern fatto dai twenty one pilots che hanno pubblicato anche una versione 'live from outside' , in contrapposizione all'originale scrittura fatta in quarantena che ha ispirato anche versi della canzone come 'Wonderin', would you be, my little quarantine? '. L'occasione è stata di quelle importanti, ovvero un collegamento con Jimmy Fallon per la versione lockdown del suo famoso 'Tonight Show'. Tyler Joseph e Josh Dun, infatti, hanno registrato una versione live con tanto di fiati diversa da quella incisa in studio e fatta grazie all'aiuto dei loro amici e collaboratori Paul Meany, Jesse Blum e Simon Jefferis.
Level Of Concern
Dopo l'annuncio di Tyler Jospeh via Twitter che il suo compagno avrebbe ricevuto dei file via mail a breve per completare una nuova canzone, i Twenty One Pilots hanno pubblicato 'Level Of Concern', attualmente nella Top 20 di Radiofreccia, lo scorso aprile. Il brano è stato creato e registrato durante il periodo di lockdown a distanza dai due artisti e parte dei ricavati del singolo è stato devoluto a Crew Nation, un fondo creato per aiutare tutti i lavoratori del mondo della musica dal vivo che hanno subito gli effetti del COVID-19 e dello stop forzato agli spettacoli live.
"Nessuno sa quando il mondo della musica live si rimetterà in piedi - aveva detto Joseph - ma ho incontrato così tante persone fantastiche che lavoravano nelle venue o in tour con le band e spero di poter fare qualcosa per aiutarli con questa canzone".
L'ultimo album di inediti dei twenty one pilots è "Trench" del 2018 che contiene le hit “The Hype", “Chlorine” e “Jumpsuit”. Quest’ultima è diventata la canzone ad aver raggiunto più velocemente la vetta della classifica “Alternative songs” di Billboard del decennio e ha permesso ai Twenty One Pilots di aggiudicarsi la quarta nomination ai Grammy come “best rock song”.
