I Twenty One Pilots sono entrati ufficialmente nella loro "Breach era" con la pubblicazione, avvenuta nelle scorse ore, del singolo The Contract.
Il brano anticipa quello che sarà il capitolo conclusivo del racconto cominciato ormai dieci anni fa con "Blurryface" e che con la release dell'album, prevista per settembre, metterà fine al ciclo.
Meno di due mesi fa il duo composto da Tyler Joseph e Josh Dun è passato anche in Italia per due concerti completamente sold out in cui hanno regalato ai loro fan un'esperienza da ricordare.
Contestualmente al lancio di 'The Contract', i Twenty One Pilots hanno anche annunciato il ritorno dal vivo per una serie di date in Nord America.

Come già anticipato alcune settimane fa, è 'The Contract' il nuovo singolo dei Twenty One Pilots che apre l'era di "Breach", capitolo conclusivo della saga cominciata nel 2015 con "Blurryface".
Dieci anni e cinque album per portare avanti un concept è qualcosa che, unito al continuo mix di generi proposto dalla band americana, spinge sempre di più i Twenty One Pilots in territori che non è forse vergognoso definire prog.
Un'assoluta accuratezza per la transmedialità nel raccontare storie che i loro fan possano seguire e su cui possano arrovellarsi tra indizi ed easter egg continui, rimanendo sempre sulle spine nello scoprire cosa accadrà.
Di sicuro accadrà che, un anno dopo l'album "Clancy", il prossimo settembre uscirà per Fueled By Ramen l'album "Breach".
Ad accompagnare The Contract anche un video diretto da Frédéric De Pontcharra che sembra agganciarsi a quello di 'Paladin Strait', lì dove si era chiusa l'era di "Clancy".

L'annuncio di un nuovo tour
Oltre all'imminente uscita del loro album, i Twenty One Pilots hanno anche annunciato nuove date del tour, a soli sei mesi dalla conclusione del loro colossale Clancy World Tour.
Il tour appena annunciato partirà da Cincinnati il 18 settembre e si concluderà al BMO Stadium di Los Angeles il 25 ottobre.
Breach arriva all'apice della carriera della band, che ha appena concluso il Clancy World Tour all'inizio di questo mese, che li ha visti suonare davanti a oltre 1,1 milioni di fan in tutto il mondo.
