Eddie Vedder e la band di Seattle hanno pubblicato nella notte il primo singolo dal nuovo album
L'attesa per i fan dei Pearl Jam è finita, o quasi.
Nella notte tra martedì e mercoledì è stato pubblicato il nuovo singolo di Eddie Vedder e compagni, dal titolo Dance of The Clairvoyants, che anticipa l'album Gigaton in uscita il prossimo 27 marzo.

Al primo ascolto il beat è decisamente spiazzante rispetto al rock ed al grunge a cui ci hanno abituati i Pearl Jam, con sonorità che virano verso un electro-funk fatto di sintetizzatori spezzati dalle chitarre elettriche, fino all'ingresso della voce di Eddie Vedder che è come sempre una certezza per pulizia ed intensità.
A commentare il brano è intervenuto il bassista Jeff Ament: “Dance of the Clairvoyants è una tempesta perfetta di sperimentazione e autentica collaborazione. [...] Dal punto di vista creativo stiamo battendo nuove strade ed è eccitante”.
Le prime linee sono già da manuale di scrittura:
"La confusione sta alla commozione come l'amore sta alla devozione, percettivamente grande, grande come l'oceano ed ugualmente difficile da controllare".
Si tratta della prima uscita discografica dei Pearl Jam dal 2013, anno di "Lightning Bolt". Il prossimo 5 luglio 2020 suoneranno in Italia all'autodromo di Imola.
